Wolverine: Origins
By Steve Ramage January 7, 2005
Possibly the biggest fallout from Marvel's recent "House Of M" saga is news
that Wolverine, who for years has struggled with mysterious gaps in his
memory, now remembers everything. Absolutely. Everything. This April,
transformed by these new memories, Logan begins a journey of revenge and
redemption to be chronicled in the new Marvel title, "Wolverine: Origins."
Expect your understanding of who Wolverine is to be completely redefined.
Oh, and expect a lot of stuff to get sliced up, too.

HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX
By Steve Ramage November 30, 2005
The last turkey sandwich has been munched, we’ve waved goodbye to the last
Thanksgiving guests, and we’ve seen “Goblet of Fire” at least three times;
now on to the important job of talking incessantly about “Harry Potter and
the Order of the Phoenix” until the people around us burst into flames.
There’s already some news on the casting front: Harry and companions will be
squaring off against Imelda Staunton as Dolores Umbridge, substitute
headmistress at Hogwarts. Brit tabloids have also pegged actress Helen
McRory as as Bellatrix Lestrange, major league Death-Eater and most loyal to
He-Who-Must-Not-Be… you know the rest. As in previous Harry Potter movies,
the casting for “Order” is--thank goodness--drawing on actors now paying
their dues in British films and TV. But for dreamy Luna Lovegood, producers
are combing the ranks of Britain’s schoolgirls. Stay tuned for word on Tonks
and Shacklebolt...
IRON MAN BACK AT MARVEL--What, he left?
By Steve Ramage November 30, 2005
After two years of New Line Cinema trying unsuccessfully to develop an Iron
Man movie for Tom Cruise, rights to Ol’ Shellhead have returned to Marvel
Entertainment. (insert favorite Tom Cruise snark here.) Marvel Entertainment
has included Iron Man in its slate of upcoming movie projects, as well as a
possible animated Iron Man direct to DVD project. CG animated Tony Stark?
Iron Man-tastic!
